About All Crate, Inc.
All Crate was first established as a manufacturer of custom wood crates in 1992 with only one employee and a very small facility to work out of. Since then, we have grown in size and now employ approximately twenty people and have expanded the size of our building twice. All Crate is now a family owned and operated company which remains focused on manufacturing high quality custom wooden crates, pallets, and skids.
Our most recent expansion was completed February 2012 and has provided us with 32,800 square feet of which, 30,000 is warehouse and production space. Our warehouse includes a five ton overhead crane, large capacity cutting equipment, two docks (one inside and one outside), and material handling equipment to handle heavy loads.
We are located in Windsor, CT which is right off the highway (I-91) and situated near the Bradley International Airport (BDL) and several trucking depots which allows us the opportunity to enhance our customer service by providing rapid production in cases where customers need expedited orders.
As well as being a strategic partner with top local manufacturing and service firms who specialize in aerospace equipment, windows, electronics, and healthcare products (to name a few), we also provide services to freight forwarding companies and private individuals as well.

Our Green Initiatives:
We strive to become more environmentally responsible and we've made building upgrades to help us achieve that goal. Not only have we upgraded our electrical system with energy efficient lighting throughout, installed a high efficiency boiler and radiant heat, we've added wood recycling bins to collect wood scraps without them entering a landfill. We are also very proud to announce that most recently we've installed approximately 10,000 sq ft of solar panels which produce 100 KW power to our roof to offset our energy consumption and give back to the grid.
Owner:
J. W. Novak (President/Owner): Over 30 years experience with building quality wood products. Started All Crate as a part of his self owned “J.W. Enterprises” which did industrial and home building and remodeling. Prior to that he worked in the aerospace industry as a quality control inspector.
